My Story

For years I was working in an office environment, happily plodding along. But in the back
of my mind I knew that there was something else out there for me. I enjoyed what I did, but I
didn't love it.

As soon as I started to question this I met a woman called Betty Cosgrave who introduced me to Life Coaching & NLP. I knew that I wanted to do this, so i quit my job and started the course. It was an incredible journey of self discovery as I learnt to deal with past issues, release myself from negative thinking and learnt to like myself a whole lot more that I every thought was possible.

By the end of the course, Reiki had found me. At the time I didn't know anything about it
and thought that I had to be very spiritual, almost hippy-ish to have Reiki in my life! I'd come from a Science background and so thought that if I couldn't see Reiki then it wasn't there. How wrong I was.

My first session was incredible, a life changing experience for me. I still can't put it down to any one thing but it was like the veils had been lifted. I knew from then that this was the direction my life would take. I must take a moment to say here that this isn't always a typical response to a first Reiki experience! I believe that this happened because I was ready and willing. Most people feel more a sense of relaxation and balance after a session, with more energy and more perspective in life.

So I knew then that if I could help people in a similar way to my own experience, then life would be
very fulfilling. I undertook intense and indepth training and became a Reiki Master. This does not
mean that I know all there is about Reiki! The term Reiki Master more indicates a level of training,
I'll be discovering more and more about Reiki for ever more. Once qualified, I opened my own practise in Booterstown in May 2006 which I love and I've been blessed to meet many new people there. I moved to Blackrock early in 2008 which is my spiritual home and every day I'm grateful as my business of helping people continues to grow and flourish.

I've since qualified as a TAT Professional and Kinesiologist and I'm so excited about bringing these therapies to my practise. Kinesiology never fails to blow me away, it's so accurate and it's astounding how the body tells us exactly what it needs to heal a certain area or way of being. The results my clients have had with this therapy are truly amazing, but don't just take my word for it, come along and try it for yourself!

Now I'm no longer plodding along, but skipping and I'm eternally grateful to be a channel for the love and light that my job brings me.
