Reiki Principles
Dr Usui, developed the principles of Reiki based on his experiences. He said that
if we could all live the following principles, then our lives could be very different.
"just for today..." allows us to live in the moment, to release all worry, concern, anger, anxiety,
stress, etc over events in the past or the future. Only when we experience living in the now
can we truly be happy. Of course, we're human first, so this isn't always possible, but even
if we just live with the intention of living in the now it will have a profound impact on our lives.
Principles of Reiki:
Just for today, I will live the attitude of gratitude,
Just for today, I will not anger,
Just for today, I will not worry,
Just for today, I will do my work honestly,
Just for today, I will show love and respect for every living thing.
