Survey Results

I could see lately that people are dealing with a lot: uncertainty, fear, anxiety, lack of social interaction and stress.

Our whole world has changed in a short amount of time and every day we're being asked to adapt and go with it.

This can be challenging and difficult to implement

I wanted to know more about this so I put out a survey to a group of 100 people. The answers were so interesting to me:

I asked what's the most difficult aspect of this situation and the answer was a resounding lack of social interaction. I suppose there's no surprise there, we're missing our loved ones.

I asked "what have you gained from mindfulness" and the top 6 answers were:

  • more awareness of the moment and myself

  • better able to deal with challenges and so felt less stressed

  • calmer, more patient and less reactive

  • more resilient

  • kinder to themselves and others

  • could live and enjoy the moment.

I asked about the challenges to doing any form of meditation. We all know it's good for us so what stops us?

  • 53% said they just forgot

  • 26% said they found that meditations were too long and that they got bored or restless.

  • and 21% said that they just don't have the time.

When I asked about what people would like to see in a mindfulness membership, 58% of said it would be weekly content with simple practices (52%) and easy hints and tips (71%) From these results and what I'm seeing personally and professionally, I decided I wanted to create clarity, make mindfulness accessible and for it to be as easy as possible for people to get to the benefits.

Especially now in the midst of all this change. I have had mindfulness in my life for a long time now, and during that time I have done a lot of reading, attending courses, practicing and studying. I wanted to create something that allowed me share all of the little things that work, the simple tools and practices in mindfulness that don't require lengthy meditations and ways to bring it to the everyday. So I have created.........the Everyday Mindfulness Membership Its a culmination and a combination of all those years of experience and the little gems that I've learnt along the way.
